Artist Info: Ed Broner (b. 1971, Paris) is a French artist blending contemporary art, street culture, and raw emotion. Originating from the late-1980s Paris graffiti scene, he studied at Art Academy Charpentier before moving to Berlin to focus on painting and photography. Using canvases and photos as a diary, Broner explores urban subcultures, mixing graffiti, contemporary painting, and African and Aboriginal art, bridging Western and non-Western visual languages. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including Paris, Berlin, Miami, Madrid, London, Seoul, Sydney, and Salzburg, at venues like Palais de Tokyo, Art Miami, and Kunstforeningen Det Ny Kastet. In 2018, he published Vagabondage, a photographic portrait of Berlin’s nightlife exploring identity and urban myths.
