Year:             2025

Medium:      Paper, ceramic, and steel

Unframed:  40 × 20 × 20 cm

Education:   Slade School

Artist Info: Elisa Carutti (b. 1991, Milan) is an Italian artist who fuses painting and sculpture into a sensuous, layered visual language. Based in Milan, she works across canvas, metal and paper, treating the canvas as both surface and structure so that pigment, edges and tension become part of the work’s physical presence. Carutti holds a BA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan (2014) and an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London (2018). Her practice explores identity and how we sense time, with forms that seem to emerge, erode and dissolve, evoking memory, erosion and drift. She has exhibited in Italy, the UK, France and Greece, participated in international residencies such as Joya: AiR in Spain, and received awards including an Erasmus bursary at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her work has been featured in publications including ArtMaze Mag and Floorr Magazine.Be covered by the ARTPIQ’S Guarantee when you check out with ARTPIQ ‍
