Artist Info: Fleur Yearsley is a Manchester-based visual artist working across painting and installation, exploring memory, gender and pop culture through bold, immersive works that update classic painting motifs with humour, tenderness and “Northern grit” drawn from everyday life. She earned an MFA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art (2017) with support from the Gwen John Scholarship, and her painting To The Moon and Back was selected for the John Moores Painting Prize 2020. Yearsley has exhibited internationally (including GNYP Gallery, HOME, and the Royal Academy of Arts), with solo presentations at Sapling Gallery and The Manchester Contemporary (2022). She has received multiple awards, most recently the Eaton Fund Grant (2024), and is represented by School Gallery (Folkestone).
