About

I work across painting, drawing, writing, embroidery and textile. My current practice is concerned with exploring the themes of femininity, female body, the unconscious drawings and the intangible female mental realm, especially emotional misbalance, which is borrowed from my personal experience, dreams and memories. My artworks examine the relationship between the female body and its emotional experience (presenting its physicality and dynamics). To achieve this, I use my unconscious drawings and consciously recreated, deconstructed female bodies. I enjoy working with textile and embroidery. For me, it is about femininity and exploring this theme, acknowledging this female peculiarity while being absorbed in a therapeutic process of sewing, embroidery and textile colouring.
